We are 15 ish weeks away from last spring frost here. That means only three more weeks until I need to start a few thing indoors. I semi-finalized our planting list today. So far it includes:
broccoli
cabbage
cauliflower
head lettuce
parsley
collards
peppers
tomatoes
spinach
radishes
leaf lettuce
peas
cucumbers
summer squash
carrots
pole beans
sweet potatoes
corn
cantaloupe
maybe a few other melons
strawberries
and possibly potatoes and onions
also a variety of other herbs will go in a box on the deck.
We have chosen to go with the square foot gardening method after much deliberation. http://www.squarefootgardening.com/ We feel like it is going to work best for us. This week I will be ordering seeds, and mapping out our boxes. I am thinking 5 boxes. I found the coolest garden planner. It is downloadable and printable. Check it out here:http://www.littlehouseinthesuburbs.com/2009/01/free-download-2009-spring-garden.html
Look for pics of seedlings for broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce, and parsley in a few weeks :)

A few things? LOL.
I've been thinking about my garden too, not sure if I will do indoor starts though. Maybe I should. We are going to do SFG too, I already have my boxes made, I just need to get a dog fence up. We are going to do tomatoes and carrots for sure, probably also onions and squash. I want to plant strawberries, but may not do that in my SFG, I haven't decided.
Im jealous that your boxes are already done. Do you have a compost pile already. I have not started one at the new house yet. Do you have the SFG book? Phylissa lent me the video. I want to read the book but am too cheap to buy it new LOL. Our strawberries are going elsewhere too.
I am SO jealous!! I want to do a garden SO bad. But I can't here. To much wild life in our yard! The squirrels would just climb a fence. Good thing Rt's fruit and veggie store is at the end of the street. But it still isn't the same.
